Kevin Clancey Named General Director of Human Resources at Delphi Delco

Kevin Clancey Named General Director of Human Resources at Delphi Delco Electronics Systems    
    KOKOMO, Ind., Dec. 22 -- The appointment of Kevin R. Clancey
as general director of human resources for Delphi Delco Electronics Systems
was announced today by Dave Wohleen, president of the division and executive
vice president of Delphi Automotive Systems.

    Clancey, who has served as director of human resources for Delphi Chassis
Division in Dayton, Ohio, since November 1998, succeeds Kevin M. Butler, who
was recently promoted to vice president of human resource management for
Delphi Automotive Systems.  The appointment is effective January 1, 2000.
    Having earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from Eastern
Michigan University, Clancey joined General Motors Corporation at its
Technical Center in Warren, Mich., in 1971 and he earned a master's degree in
finance from the University of Detroit Mercy in 1977.  He became a labor
relations representative in 1978 and progressed through a series of labor
relations and personnel positions at several GM plant and divisional
locations.  Included in his experience are management assignments at the
Willow Run Assembly Plant in southeastern Mich.; the former Inland Fisher
Guide Division plant in Adrian, Mich.; and the former AC Rochester Division in
Flint, Mich.  He was named personnel director at the Delphi Energy & Engine
Management Systems' Flint East Site in 1994 and he was promoted to director of
industrial relations for the division in 1997, prior to joining Delphi Chassis
in 1998.
