SFX Names Leading Online Auto Parts Retailer, Wrenchead.com, as Title Sponsor of World's Largest Monster Truck Tour
NEW YORK--Dec. 16, 1999--Ever-
SFX Entertainment announced today a three year, multimillion dollar commitment from Wrenchead.com, the world's leading online automotive parts retailer, to become the title sponsor of SFX's Monster Jam series, the world's largest monster truck racing tour. The series, which will now be called Wrenchead.com Monster Jam, has been produced by PACE Motor Sports, an SFX company, and sanctioned by the United States Hot Rod Association (USHRA), since its inception 25 years ago.
As the national title sponsor of Wrenchead.com Monster Jam (Monster Jam), the company will gain exposure in front of the millions of attendees that SFX delivers through the 100+ events that comprise Monster Jam annually. Additionally, Wrenchead.com will be included in the annual multimillion dollar print and broadcast ad campaigns, as well as be integrated into banners, signage and video clips at events. The on-line company will also explore special on-site promotions and trials of the Wrenchead.com website.
In addition to announcing the new title sponsorship, it was also announced that this year's television coverage of Wrenchead.com Monster Jam will be the most extensive ever. The Nashville Network (TNN) will dedicate more than 100 hours of programming to Monster Jam coverage. The series will be aired Friday nights at 7:00 pm EST and 11:00 pm EST during the TNN "Motor Madness" program block. Also on March 26, 2000, the Wrenchead.com Monster Jam World Finals will be televised for the first time ever. It will be available on Pay-Per-View from Sam Boyd Silver Bowl in Las Vegas.
"SFX is unparalleled in event marketing and our association with them offers us perfect synergy," says Gus Conrades, CEO of Wrenchead.com. "It is an ideal opportunity to build brand awareness in front of millions of people who fall within our target demographics."
While Wrenchead.com takes the national title sponsorship of Monster Jam, non-competitive local sponsors will continue to be associated with the event.
"We are thrilled that Wrenchead.com is now the title sponsor of Monster Jam. The series is the world's number one monster truck racing tour, offering the most prestigious venues and attracting the largest audience," says Charlie Mancuso, President of PACE Motor Sports, an SFX company.
