HitDomains.com Announces Sale of Autos.com Domain Name to Leading Automotive e-tailer CarsDirect.com for $2.2 Million

    FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla.--Dec. 15, 1999-- HitDomains.com today announced the sale of the domain name Autos.com for $2.2 million to CarsDirect.com (www.carsdirect.com), the leading automotive e-tailer.
    The sale was conducted privately, in advance of an anticipated auction for the Autos.com name.
