Corvette Museum Elects Perriello As New Board Member Bowling Green, KY-The National Corvette Museum announced today that Vince Perriello, has been elected to a two-year term on the Museum's Board of Directors. Perriello is a Lifetime Member of the Museum, serves as the Museum Ambassador for the Corvette Marque Club of Seattle, Washington, and is the secretary for the Northwest Association of Corvette Clubs. Perriello also served as the 1999 Caravan Captain for the Seattle Caravan, during the Museum's 5th Anniversary Caravan and Celebration. Through the efforts of the Corvette Marque Club of Seattle, Vince added a Museum angle to the club's shows and has generated several thousand dollars for the Museum. "I am honored to have been given the opportunity to help the Museum in this way, as we face the challenges of the future together," said Perriello. "I will approach the coming two years with an open mind and rolled-up sleeves." Vince and Christine, his wife of 21 years, reside in Redmond Washington with two of their children Christopher and Valerie. Vince is employed by Microsoft as a software development engineer. Vince is proud to admit that the Corvette is his hobby and passion, and proudly owns a 1990 ZR-1 Corvette, a 1995 ZR-1 Corvette, a 1997 Corvette Coupe, and a 2000 Nassau Blue Corvette. "Vince is a great addition to the Museum Board," said Museum Executive Director Wendell Strode. "The passion and Corvette knowledge that Vince has, will lend to moving the Museum forward and accomplishing our vision." The National Corvette Museum is a non-profit foundation dedicated to educating the public through the preservation of the Corvette's past, present and future heritage.
