Rexhall Industries Adds New Dealers, Records Over $6 Million in Orders at RVIA ShowAnnounces Plans for New Facility To Support Future Growth LANCASTER, Calif., Dec. 15 -- Rexhall Industries, Inc. made the most of the RV industry's biggest trade show last week, introducing a new Class A motorhome, adding new dealer distribution and increasing orders. The Class A RV manufacturer also announced it has acquired land adjacent to its headquarters and manufacturing facility in Lancaster, California to build a new, 250,000-square-foot facility. Rexhall said the new plant will allow it to expand its Class A motorhome manufacturing and to begin producing its own line of diesel-pusher RV chassis. Rexhall currently buys all of its chassis from outside suppliers. "Rexhall is poised for dramatic growth, as evidenced by our strong showing at the RVIA show, and we recognize we must expand our capacity and capabilities to continue to outpace the market," said William J. Rex, chairman, president and chief executive officer of Rexhall Industries. Rexhall reported that its new Millennium motorhome series was met with overwhelming approval during the three-day Recreational Vehicle Industry Association show in Louisville, Ky. The Millennium series features new innovations and exclusive designs in both the interior and exterior across each of Rexhall's six lines of Class A motorhomes -- Aerbus, RexAir, Vision, American Clipper, Anthem and RoseAir. Rexhall said it took new orders at the show for more than 90 Class A units, a 29 percent increase over orders placed at last year's RVIA show. The Company also announced it added new dealerships on the East Coast and in the Midwest during the show, reflecting its recent focus on broadening its distribution network. "We are extremely pleased with the outcome of the show and the positive response we received from dealers," Rex said. "We have committed more sales resources to focus on the Midwestern and East Coast regions of the United States, and we have seen an immediate payoff from that strategy as evidenced by the number of orders taken and new dealers added in Louisville. "Rexhall was also rewarded with strong interest -- and order flow -- from our current core customers in the West Coast and Southern states. That's being driven, in large part, by enthusiasm over our new Millennium series motorhomes, which solidify our presence on the leading edge of product development in the RV industry." Rexhall displayed numerous new vehicles, all of which are already in production. Rexhall's six lines of Class A motorhomes -- ranging from 26-foot gas-powered motorhomes to 39-foot rear-engine diesel coaches -- each feature upgrades that will set the standard for performance and quality-minded RV consumers. * Aerbus, RexAir and RoseAir: Ducted roof air conditioning, all-new electrical system featuring 30 amp shore power, valve extenders for the rear wheels, front-cap and rear-cap body styling changes, as well as decorative mirrors and other interior improvements. * American Clipper and Vision: Rexhall's first entry-level slide out, featuring an L-shape sofa and a floor-mounted entertainment center, as well as new exterior body style and graphic design. * Anthem: New raised rail, 260 h.p. Cummins rear-engine diesel is an entry-level coach that will compete with comparably priced gas-powered models. "We designed the Millennium edition vehicles after listening to our customers and dealers," said P.J. Theis, Rexhall director of sales and marketing. "Entry-level RV buyers as well as those looking to upgrade will enjoy the many extras these vehicles offer in addition to the premium performance and integrity that are synonymous with Rexhall products." Rexhall Industries, Inc. (http://www.rexhall.com ) designs, manufactures and sells various models of Class A motorhomes used for leisure travel and outdoor activities. Rexhall's six lines of Class A motorhomes, sold through approximately 100 dealer locations across the U.S., Canada and Europe, include Aerbus, RexAir, Vision, American Clipper, Anthem and RoseAir. Rexhall was recently ranked one of America's 100 Fastest Growing Companies by Individual Investor magazine. FORWARD-LOOKING STATEMENTS: RISK FACTORS. Our statements of our intentions or expectations are "forward-looking statements", based on assumptions and on facts known to us today. There are risks that actual developments will not be as favorable as our expectations, both because of risks existing today and because of new factors arising. We do not intend to update this report. Rexhall's business is seasonal. The recreational vehicle industry has in the past enjoyed favorable recreational vehicle industry sales when we have low interest rates, low unemployment, and ready availability of motor fuel. We see continual speculation that interest rates will rise, and recent reports of decreased consumer confidence may reduce sales. Many of Rexhall's competitors are substantially larger, and many of its suppliers also have greater economic power, so that the volume and prices of both supplies and sales may be adversely affected. Management intends to remain aware of these factors and react to them, but cannot predict their timing or significance.
