UAW Reaches Tentative Agreement at Saturn
    SPRING HILL, Tenn., Dec. 14 -- UAW President Stephen P.
Yokich, and Vice President Richard Shoemaker, who directs the UAW General
Motors Department, announced this morning that a tentative national agreement
has been reached between the union and the Saturn Corporation.  The agreement
covers about 6,700 UAW members in Saturn facilities in Spring Hill, Tennessee
and Troy, Michigan.
    Details of the tentative agreement are being withheld pending a
ratification vote of UAW members at Saturn.
