Viisage Awarded New Contract With The State Of Ohio

    LITTLETON, Mass., Dec. 13 -- Viisage Technology, Inc.
, a leader in the emerging field of biometrics technology and in
providing identification systems and solutions, today announced that it has
been awarded a new $2.6 million contract to maintain and support the digital
drivers program with the Ohio Department of Public Safety's Bureau of Motor
Vehicles.
    Tom Colatosti, Viisage President and Chief Executive Officer, said, "Ohio
was Viisage's first customer to implement an over-the-counter, instant
issuance, digital driver's license.  Therefore,  it is particularly gratifying
