Royal Oak Marketing Expands Combination Automotive Starter and Security Alarm Keyless Remote
MINNEAPOLIS--Dec. 13, 1999--and Security for Today's Automobiles
Autoco.com (OTCBB:AOOO) announced today that its subsidiary, Royal Oak Marketing has expanded its current line of fully featured automotive starters with the addition of their newly developed Automotive Motor and Access Control Key or AMAC. Royal Oak, which has been developing sophisticated automotive starters since 1994, designed the AMAC starters with an added array of useful options, including a security alarm, the ability to lock or unlock the car, headlights and trunk access buttons and an adjustable temperature gauge, all on a single remote.
"Automotive starters are beginning to receive a considerable amount of consumer attention. This is evident throughout Canada and the United States as sales continue to rise sharply in line with the significant increases in their technology and available options," says Alex Romanov, president and CEO of Royal Oak Marketing. "Typically sales have been limited to the harsh winter months, although it is more moving toward a year-round sales item as consumers are opting to buy combination remote starters and security devices for their automobile as opposed to two separate devices. That's why we developed the AMAC line to include a full arrangement of options to encompass as many features as possible."
The demand for automobile starters has risen steadily, with over 800,000 units now being sold annually just in Canada. According to TWICE Magazine, the Canadian market for automobile starters is expected to increase by 20 percent in the year 2000.
"What is unique about the AMAC line is that it has a broad range of options making it much more useful than a traditional car starter. The AMAC's unique features allow the user to start his or her car from inside their home or office, letting it warm up in the winter or cool down in the summer. This means that it is useful in all climates, year round. This device uses a single remote to control the security system, the door and truck locks, headlights and a temperature gauge, from a range of up to a thousand feet away. The temperature gauge is a particularly useful device in cold climates. At night you can set the gauge at whatever temperature is as cold as you want your car to get. If the temperature drops below the set temperature, the car will start itself and run for 15 minutes to warm up, insuring that your car will always be ready to drive immediately, regardless of how long it sits out," adds Romanov.
