Johnson Controls Integrated Facility Management Secures Contract With Xerox for Workplace Management Services
    ATLANTA, Dec. 9 -- Johnson Controls, the world's leading
provider of fully integrated facility management services and workplace
consulting, has announced a partnership agreement with Xerox
for strategic workplace management services.
    The five-year contract represents the most comprehensive workplace
management agreement to date for Johnson Controls.  Under the agreement,
Johnson Controls will provide workplace and facility support services for the
10 million square feet of Xerox real estate portfolio in Rochester, N.Y.  The
Xerox Rochester portfolio includes laboratories, research facilities,
manufacturing facilities and office space.
    The partnership encompasses the strategic management of project requests,
new construction, build-outs, reconfiguration, space management and move
management.  Through these workplace services, Johnson Controls Integrated
Facility Management will provide Xerox with expert planning support for
critical workplace decisions and help improve the company's workplace
performance.  In addition, Johnson Controls will conduct ongoing analysis of
all newly implemented workplace initiatives to ensure consistency with Xerox's
long-term strategic plans, secure best value pricing for project initiatives,
and continually streamline project implementation and timelines.
