Mercury Insurance Group Selects EazyImage for DRP Program; GO Media, Inc.'s EazyImage Reduces Costs for Mercury and DRP Shops
DENVER, Dec. 9 -- GO Media, Inc., a leading Internet
developer, announced today the agreement between Mercury Insurance and
EazyImage(TM), to be the single solution provider for Mercury's DRP Program in
Southern California. By using EazyImage, Mercury Insurance DRP Shops will
receive electronic assignments that will assist their estimating and imaging
processes with the claims department.
The newest solution to DRP management does not require a specific
estimating system because EazyImage works with all popular estimating programs
within the industry. The image management system provides a single source
solution, using a safe and encrypted file format. GO Media, Inc. is the first
company to openly promote an Internet solution to DRP Management.
"By using an Internet based platform, both the collision and insurance
industry will reduce their expenses in their DRP process," stated Bill Towler,
Senior Vice President of Insurance Services for GO Media, Inc. "The industry
has been asking for an open solution for quite some time. EazyImage(TM) is
part of our Internet Claims Task Manager(TM)," stated Towler. "This enables
the company to use any popular estimating system, the Internet, and any
digital camera. Mercury has recognized the many advantages to using our
solution and is aggressively moving into the next millennium with our
Y2K-ready solution. Our next step will be to automate the ordering of
collision repair parts through our premier website, http://www.acar.net. This will
enable the DRP shops to reduce cycle time, reduce costs, and increase
productivity."
