Lawrence Joins Dain Rauscher Wessels as E-Auto Sector Analyst
    MINNEAPOLIS, Dec. 8 -- Jonathan Lawrence has joined Dain
Rauscher Wessels, a division of Dain Rauscher Incorporated, as an equity
research analyst.  He joins the firm's technology research team, focusing on
e-commerce in the auto industry as well as auto manufacturers and suppliers.
    Previously, Lawrence was a domestic and emerging markets automotive sector
research analyst at Bear Stearns & Co. and Sanford C. Bernstein & Co., both in
New York.  Prior to that, he was a research analyst for Battelle, U.S.
Department of Energy in Washington, D.C.  Lawrence holds a bachelor's degree
in international studies from Johns Hopkins University and a master's degree
in international economics and energy, environment, science and technology
from the Paul H. Nitze School for Advanced International Studies at Johns
Hopkins University.

procurement, assembly and distribution within the automotive industry.  In
