Budget Rent A Car Announces Exciting New Hoop Deal
         Plus, New Radio Campaign to Hit the Airwaves in Mid-December


    LISLE, Ill., Dec. 6 -- Budget Rent a Car, the world's third
largest car and truck rental system, announced today a multi-million dollar
marketing deal with Turner Broadcasting to sponsor the NBA telecasts on Turner
Networks TNT and TBS Superstation.  The deal includes advertising, billboards
and in-game features.
    In addition, stay tuned to the airwaves for a new twist on Budget's radio
campaign, beginning mid-December.  The campaign, which initially launched in
mid-October, will feature a whole new lineup of 60-second spots that link with
the company's newspaper and TV advertising and continue its humorous edge.
    In January, watch Turner Networks TNT and TBS Superstation for the latest
wave of Budget's TV advertising, featuring Fastbreak, the company's fastest
way to rent a car.
