CMP'S InformationWeek Announces 1999 Chief of The YearVisteon's CIO Dave Bent Cited for Leadership and Business Innovation Powered by Technology MANHASSET, N.Y., Dec. 6 -- InformationWeek Magazine named Dave Bent, CIO of Visteon Automotive Systems, the 1999 Chief of the Year. Bent is the thirteenth leader to earn InformationWeek's Chief of the Year honor. He was selected by the editors of InformationWeek based on his efforts to transform Visteon into an E-business and to build a highly adaptive corporate culture. "We look for leadership in technology innovation, in IT and business integration, and in building and maintaining strong customer relationships at a speed critical to today's business environment," said Stephanie Stahl, Editor of InformationWeek. Visteon has aggressively used the Web and Internet technology to expand its supply chain and work more effectively and efficiently with suppliers.
