Southeast Toyota Posts Best-Ever November Sales

    MIAMI, Dec. 6 -- Southeast Toyota Distributors, Inc. today
announced the best-ever November retail sales in its 30-year history.  The
company's former November record, set in 1996, was surpassed by 12 percent.
    Throughout Southeast Toyota's five-state region, retail truck sales in
November advanced 59 percent over the year-ago month while retail car sales
advanced 10 percent.
    In addition to four all-new Toyota offerings: the full-size Indiana-built
Tundra pickup, the affordable ECHO sedan, the radically stlyed Celica sports
car, and the Kentucky-built Avalon sedan; sales leaders for the month included
2-wheel-drive Tacoma pickups, up four percent and the Sienna minivan, up nine
percent.
    Ranked first among Toyota's American distributors in sales and customer
satisfaction, Southeast Toyota is the independent distributor of Toyotas in
Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina.  Owned and
