Christmas Comes Early for William J. Dean Technical School
HOLYOKE, Mass.--Dec. 3, 1999--Gary Rome Hyundai, at 1000 Main Street in Holyoke, Friday announced a very special donation in conjunction with Hyundai Motor America.Gary Rome will be presenting a 1997 Hyundai Sonata to the William J. Dean Technical High School in Holyoke along with all the related shop manuals.
"The Rome family has always supported the effort of continuing the education of future automotive technicians," said Rome, dealer principal of Gary Rome Hyundai. "In fact, we have hired graduates of the school to work in our dealership."
The educational support given through the Hyundai Sonata donation is an example of Rome's varied philanthropic endeavors that have included the American Cancer Society as well as the Springfield Sirens, the championship winning women's professional soccer team.
