General Motors New Certified Sticker ProgramIRVINE, Calif., Dec. 2 -- A new strategic partnership between General Motors and Kelley Blue Book makes it easier for GM dealers to market certified used vehicles with the use of Blue Book's PC-based software KARPOWER(R). Kelley Blue Book, an approved General Motors Dealer Service Provider, will furnish software for processing GM Certified Used Vehicle Window Stickers. GM Dealers can use an enhanced version of KARPOWER to produce custom GM Certified Window Stickers, featuring complete vehicle descriptions and the Blue Book suggested retail value as a reference for consumers. GM Certified warranty description has also been incorporated into the software for printing Buyers Guides. KARPOWER's Web export functionality has also been customized for General Motors. "The most dynamic enhancement made to KARPOWER on behalf of General Motors is the GM Certified Web Export feature," said Robert Wagner, Manager of Strategic Relationships for Kelley Blue Book. "The dealer's entire certified vehicle inventory will be uploaded to the Internet with the click of a button." According to Brad Krause, Manager of Operations at GM Certified, "The Kelley Blue Book software, KARPOWER, offers the GM Certified dealer the first ever opportunity to export his GM Certified vehicles directly to http://www.gmcertified.com." No matter where you are in the country, people say, "What's the Blue Book on my car?" Since 1926, Kelley Blue Book has been the nation's leading provider of automotive pricing and value information. KARPOWER is the nation's best selling used car software, as last year over three million cars were sold with a Blue Book window sticker.
