PSA Peugeot Citroen and Valeo Sign Technology Innovation Plan
PARIS--Dec. 2, 1999--PSA Peugeot Citroen and Valeo, partners for many years, have decided to strengthen their technical collaboration by signing a technology innovation plan.The plan, which covers nearly all Valeo activities, will enable in-depth research to be carried out on projects designed to improve:
- | Thermal management in vehicles, including cabin comfort. |
- | Mechanisms for vehicle access systems. |
- | Lighting systems and driver vision. |
- | Fuel consumption and environmental protection. |
- | Active safety and comfort for Peugeot and Citroen vehicles. |
Commenting on the agreement, Robert Peugeot, PSA Peugeot Citroen Innovation and Quality Director, said, "We are dedicated to offering our customers high-quality, state-of-the-art products. The combination of our two companies' talents and resources in specially targeted activities is a good illustration of our drive for growth and innovation."
