PSA Peugeot Citroen and Valeo Sign Technology Innovation Plan

PARIS--Dec. 2, 1999--PSA Peugeot Citroen and Valeo, partners for many years, have decided to strengthen their technical collaboration by signing a technology innovation plan.
The plan, which covers nearly all Valeo activities, will enable in-depth research to be carried out on projects designed to improve:

-	Thermal management in vehicles, including cabin comfort.
-	Mechanisms for vehicle access systems.
-	Lighting systems and driver vision.
-	Fuel consumption and environmental protection.
-	Active safety and comfort for Peugeot and Citroen vehicles.

    Commenting on the agreement, Robert Peugeot, PSA Peugeot Citroen Innovation and Quality Director, said, "We are dedicated to offering our customers high-quality, state-of-the-art products. The combination of our two companies' talents and resources in specially targeted activities is a good illustration of our drive for growth and innovation."
