Daewoo Expansion Continues

    COMPTON, Calif., Dec. 2 -- Daewoo continued its upward
progression in November with sales of 3,166 vehicles, almost 700% greater than
the same period one year ago.
    During the 25 day selling period, Leganza continued to lead all models
with 1,574 units sold, followed by Nubira at 913 and Lanos at 679.

    Since October, Daewoo has expanded its retail network by 18 facilities.
The company now operates 259 outlets in 43 states.  By year-end, Daewoo is
targeting a retail network of 300 outlets.
