Hyundai Sales Continue to Increase; November Sales Up 186% Over Last YearFOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif., Dec. 1 -- Hyundai Motor America today announced sales of 14,062 vehicles for the month of November, up 186 percent from one year ago. November sales were the best since 1988. Total year-to-date sales are 150,872, an 81 percent increase over last year. "With sales of 7,254 units, the Elantra continues to be the volume leader with sales up 220 percent over the same month last year," said Robert Cosmai, vice-president of sales for Hyundai Motor America. Our flagship Sonata continues to show large sales increases, with a year-to-date sales increase of 110 percent over last year," Cosmai added. "One factor bringing customers into Hyundai showrooms is The Hyundai Advantage, America's Best Warranty" Cosmai said. "Hyundai buyers are covered by a 10-year/100,000 powertrain warranty, a 5-year/60,000 mile bumper-to-bumper warranty, a 5-year/100,000-mile anti-perforation warranty and 5-year/unlimited-mile roadside assistance protection," he said.
