Ford Extends Purchase Order with Microphonics
NASHVILLE, Tenn.--Dec. 1, 1999--Microphonics (OTC BB: MRPS) today reported that it has received a purchase order extension from Ford Rotunda Equipment and Special Service Tools, the sales and marketing arm of Ford Motor Company. This action provides for an extension through December 31, 2000 of the Ford purchase order. In connection with this purchase order extension, Ford Rotunda has introduced Equipment Solutions, (a division of Snap-on Incorporated), as the facilitator of its sales and marketing efforts for service equipment world-wide. This new relationship provides significant opportunities for increased sales and marketing of Microphonics' products to the global Ford network.Jimmy Gayle, CEO of Microphonics, states, "We feel that this extension represents a renewal of Ford Rotunda's approval of the Microphonics product line.
