Audi Announces Best November Since 1985 - Hot-Selling Models Continue Sales Momentum

    AUBURN HILLS, Mich., Dec. 1 -- Audi of America, Inc. today
announced November sales results of 5,971 automobiles sold, a 38.6 percent
increase over the same month last year, with sales of 4,309.  These results
mark Audi's best November since 1985.  Year-to-date sales are 59,480 versus
41,233, an increase of 44.3%.
    With the 2000 model year just underway, Audi continued to experience
growth with the A4, A6, and A8 models.  The largest increases came in the A4
and A8 models with 29.1 percent and 28.3 percent respectively.  The hot-
selling Audi TT continued its sales climb with 537 sold in November for a
total of 4,483 year to date.
