DataDetroit.com Adds Administration Center To Its Automotive Employment Web Site
DETROIT, Dec. 1 -- DataDetroit.com announced today it is
expanding its Automotive Employment Resources web site
(http://www.datadetroit.com ) to include administrative and support jobs. The
new Administration Center will focus on job descriptions not associated with
its current Design, Engineering, Tooling and Service Centers.
The addition is the latest upgrade made to the site. Over the last six
months the Automotive Employment Resources web site has added a Resume Bank,
monthly newsletter, and a new advertising rep company. The site has been
online since October 1998.
The new Administration Center categories include Accountants,
Communications, HR, Marketing and Sales, among others. "The expansion was
driven by advice we received from a woman in the automotive media," says
Thomas Feeney, DataDetroit.com President. "She said we had the gear heads
covered but we were missing opportunities in other areas."
"Automotive administration is a large demographic in our niche market,"
says Feeney. "It's conceivable that the Administration Center will become our
second highest traffic area behind Engineering." The automotive industry as a
whole is experiencing its greatest sales year ever with little indication of a
slowdown in 2000.
Record auto sales, low unemployment rates and the need for advanced skill
sets in a global high tech industry is forcing companies to use the Internet
to cover bigger geographical areas when looking for new employees. The
Internet also allows interactivity between candidates and employers and is
very cost effective.
Automotive Employment Resources is an Industry Specific niche job board
that focuses on professionals marketing their skills in an era of free agency
and exceptional career opportunities.
