Perth-born Mr. Reid has lived and worked in China and Hong Kong since 1985. He has significant, internationally recognized experience in conducting business in the region, and has an impeccable range of political and commercial contacts. Mr. Reid said China held enormous opportunities for Orbital. "Air pollution has become a major issue in China's big cities, and one of the main causes is the exhaust emissions from the rapidly growing motorcycle fleet. Orbital's technology, which is designed to make gasoline engines cleaner and more efficient, could make a big contribution." Sundiro is one of China's largest and fastest growing motorcycle manufacturers, producing 682,000 motorcycles in 1998.
