25 November 1999

Law Offices of Lionel Z. Glancy Continues Class Action Lawsuit Filed on Behalf Of Certain Shareholders Against Safety Components International, Inc. For Violations of Federal Securities Laws
LOS ANGELES, Nov. 24 -- The following is being released by
The Law Offices of Lionel Z. Glancy:

The Law Offices of Lionel Z. Glancy continues its lawsuit against Safety
Components International, Inc., having announced on November 12, 1999 that
pursuant to Section 21(D)(A)(3)(a)(i) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934,
a Class Action has been commenced in the United States District Court for the
District of New Jersey on behalf of a class (the "Class") consisting of all
persons who purchased the common stock of Safety Components International,
Inc. ("Safety") between March 30, 1997 and November 9, 1999,
inclusive (the "Class Period").
The Complaint charges Safety and certain of its officers with violations
of federal securities laws. Among other things, plaintiff claims that
defendants' material omissions and the dissemination of materially false and
misleading statements regarding the nature of Safety's operations and
financial statements drove Safety's stock price to a Class Period high of
$18.8125 per share. Safety's common stock fell to a class period low of
$2.5938 per share, and is currently halted from trading, inflicting enormous
damages on investors. Plaintiff seeks to recover damages on behalf of Class
members and is represented by the Law Offices of Lionel Z. Glancy, a law firm
with significant experience in prosecuting class actions, and substantial
expertise in actions involving corporate fraud.
If you are a member of the Class described above, you may move the Court,
not later than 60 days from November 12, 1999, to serve as lead plaintiff,
however, you must meet certain legal requirements. If you wish to discuss
this action or have any questions concerning this Notice or your rights or
interests with respect to these matters, please contact Lionel Z. Glancy,
Esquire, or Michael Goldberg, Esquire of the Law Offices of Lionel Z. Glancy,
