CarStation Names LVMH Executive Bergen CIO
    SAN FRANCISCO, Nov. 23 -- CarStation.com, the e-commerce hub
for the automotive services industry, today announced the appointment of David
Bergen as chief information officer.
    Mr. Bergen has 20 years of information technology experience, currently
serving as senior vice president and CIO of global information technologies
for LVMH-SDG Inc.  Previously, Mr. Bergen spent nearly 12 years with The GAP
Inc., last serving as vice president of application development.
    Mr. Bergen has played a leading role in building and scaling integrated
solutions for large, multinational organizations.  He and his teams have been
proficient in developing leading-edge technology solutions, aligning IT
strategies with business strategies, and managing business and technical
infrastructures.  He also has significant experience in developing effective
organizations and applying strategies that help companies prosper in
next-generation economies.
    Mr. Bergen will assume those roles at CarStation, including managing the
integration of several existing automotive product ordering systems that will
help the company establish an open-standards online marketplace for the
industry.
