Harley-Davidson Opens Doors on the RoadStore New Section of www.harley-davidson.com Now Available For Browsing

    MILWAUKEE, Nov. 22 -- Harley-Davidson riders who
spend their days on the open road can now browse for products at night.  The
Genuine Harley-Davidson RoadStore(TM), opening today at
http://www.harley-davidson.com , takes a dramatic leap forward in providing product
information to riders.
    The RoadStore features products from Harley-Davidson's Genuine Motor
Accessories and MotorClothes product lines.  Though customers can't make
purchases yet, the RoadStore allows them to browse through the entire product
collection and to create a wish list for their next visit to a Harley-Davidson
dealer.
    "One of our objectives with this program is to enable dealers to establish
and maintain close relationships with customers," said Ken Ostermann,
interactive communications manager for Harley-Davidson.  "The initial phase of
the RoadStore brings a tremendous amount of product information to the
consumer.  A future, pilot-phase of the program will connect selected dealers
with customers for online sales through the RoadStore section of our web
site."
    The site has been designed to make it easy for owners to learn about
products that fit their motorcycle and style of riding.  New and existing
Harley enthusiasts will find the MotorClothes section a great way to view
Harley-Davidson's offering of apparel and collectibles, as well as learn about
product features.  New products will also be highlighted in the RoadStore,
giving visitors a great place to learn about what is new from Harley-Davidson.
    Even riders who are interested in "traditional" shopping will benefit from
the RoadStore.  The Company's dealer locator has undergone significant
enhancements.  The new locator features the ability to search for a local
dealer, maps to dealer locations, lists of dealership services, and it also
provides driving directions.
    The Motor Company intends to pilot the online sales component of the
RoadStore next year through selected dealers.
