Andover Woman Wins Harley Davidson Motorcycle at Freedom Valu Center
FRIDLEY, Minn., Nov. 19 -- The exciting Magic Match Game,
implemented in July, came to a close on November 18 when the winner was
notified. Mariella Haas of Andover, Minn., received the winning ticket at a
Freedom Valu Center in Fridley, Minn.
When store manager Tom Zwirn contacted Haas to inform her of the winning
ticket, she was shocked to learn that she was the motorcycle winner in the
Midwest. Haas is a frequent customer of both the Fridley and the Coon Rapids
Freedom Valu Centers. While Haas' husband recently purchased a bike, this
will be her first motorcycle.
With over 469,000 prizes available, customers had the opportunity to win
cash prizes totaling over $8,000 and free products valued at $130,000. In
conjunction with other product sponsors, Freedom Valu Centers offered almost
half a million different instant win prizes, making this one of the largest
customer promotions in Freedom's history. Recipients received anything from a
free cup of coffee or pop, to cash, to the grand prize of the Harley Davidson
883 Sportster. The Magic Match Game revealed winners from as far away as
California and Montana.
Customers were given a free scratch game each time they visited one of the
60 Freedom Valu Center stores. Approximately 4.5 million tickets were
distributed throughout the four state area, which included Minnesota,
Wisconsin, Michigan and South Dakota.
Any non-winning tickets were eligible in a second-chance drawing for the
883 Harley Davidson Motorcycle. The winner will be presented with her new
motorcycle on Monday, November 22 in Coon Rapids at 1 p.m.; this Freedom Valu
Center is located at 3516 Main Street, Coon Rapids, MN 55448. Stay tuned for
future promotions.
