Cygnus Business Media's 'Sports Truck Accessory Awarded

22 November 1999

Cygnus Business Media's 'Sports Truck Accessory Digest' Honored At 1999 International Automotive Media Awards
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla., Nov. 19 -- Cygnus Business Media
announced today that "Sports Truck Accessory Digest," the most important
publication serving the Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) aftermarket, was honored
by the International Automotive Media Awards (IAMA). The magazine was awarded
the coveted Bronze Medallion in the Layout Design Full Publication category
recognizing its July/August 1999 issue.
"We are pleased that this magazine stood out among a group of other
important publications," says Gerry Hogan, chairman and CEO of Cygnus. "Kip
Czoch, its publisher, Mary Tuthill, the art director, and Kevin Rusk, its
graphic technician, are all to be congratulated for their significant efforts
and creative work."
The International Automotive Media Awards were presented on November 1 at
the Buick-SEMA Awards Banquet in Las Vegas. Entries were judged by industry
peers in various categories that cover all areas and forms of automotive media
other than direct advertising. The Graphics category was evaluated on quality
of design, typography, illustrations, reproduction and overall effectiveness.
"'Sports Truck Accessory Digest' is a quality publication that uses news,
graphics and a unique layout design to enhance the experience of the
magazine," says Kip Czoch. "Most importantly, we continue to make our mark
within the automotive aftermarket industry by reaching out to our readers and
delivering targeted information more distinctive than other magazines of its
type."
"Sports Truck Accessory Digest," a BPA audited publication, was launched
in 1995. Based in Elkhart, Indiana, it reaches more than 14,000 dealers,
distributors and suppliers in the light-truck accessory market. Light trucks
(pickups, vans and sport utility vehicles) represent nearly half of all new
vehicles sold in the United States. Sales for truck accessory retailers are
projected to increase substantially as that market segment continues to grow.
Cygnus Business Media, a leader in business-to-business communications,
publishes "Sports Truck Accessory Digest."
