Discount Auto Parts to Commemorate Latest Milestone With 600th Store Grand Opening

    LAKELAND, Fla.--Nov. 18, 1999--Rapidly growing Discount Auto Parts marked the achievement of yet another company milestone with the 600th store grand opening on Wednesday, November 17.
    The new store is located in metropolitan New Orleans.
    "Thanks to the hard work of our team members, the achievement of major company milestones becomes ever more frequent," said Bill Perkins, Discount Auto Parts President. The company celebrated the 500th store grand opening just one year ago in November 1998.

    Perkins said the company plans to also open approximately 100 new stores across the Southeast during the next twelve months.
