Green Car Journal Earns Top Automotive Media HonorsATLANTA, Nov. 16 -- Green Car Journal, a leading auto industry publication, was honored with eight awards, including Best of Division, at this month's 1999 International Automotive Media Conference (IAMC). "The recognition of our work at Green Car Journal by the leading automotive industry media conference overwhelmed us," said the newsletter's editor/publisher, Ron Cogan, in Atlanta this week to speak about the future of electric vehicles at the North American Electric Vehicle and Infrastructure Conference. Additionally, Green Car Group received a silver medallion for its Alternative Fuel Vehicle Reference Guide CD-ROM produced for General Motors Advanced Technology Vehicles; a silver medallion for its Rush Hauer(R) natural gas vehicle talk radio audiocassette promotion for Volvo Cars North America; and a bronze medallion for its Clean Fuel Vehicles special section produced for Motor Trend magazine.
