DynaMotive Presents Prospects as the Company Files 10Q for Q3 1999

16 November 1999

DynaMotive President Presents Future Prospects as the Company Files 10Q for Third Quarter 1999
VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Nov. 16 -- DynaMotive
Technologies Corporation (OTC Bulletin Board: DYMTF) filed its 1999 third
quarter financial results today and Andrew Kingston, President and CEO,
presented the future prospects for the Company as follows:

The third quarter of 1999 marked the turning point for DynaMotive as a
Company. We continued to exploit and expand the market for existing
technologies and successfully completed the development and testing of our
BioOil technology to a point where we could move to the commercial
exploitation phase.
This was underscored by Stone & Webster who independently confirmed that
the technology is reliable and scalable, and through our agreement with Orenda
Aerospace. We are naturally very excited by these developments and the wide
interest they have generated within the scientific and commercial sectors.
We are currently in the process of expanding our corporate structure and
reorganizing the Company on a worldwide basis. Substantial interest has been
expressed for our technologies by a wide range of commercial partners, and our
new structure will allow us to maximize the benefits to the Company by
aligning itself to regional needs. We are in discussion with various
commercial partners and will be reporting progress over the coming months.
A detailed analysis of the Company's progress is available within the
Management's Discussion and Analysis section of the 1999 third quarter
financial report (pages 12 to 20) where the shift in the Company from R&D to
commercial exploitation of its technologies is presented and discussed. A
copy of the financial report is available upon request from the Company. It
is also posted on the Company's website at http://www.dynamotive.com.

Stone & Webster, Inc. is one of the world's largest engineering
firms with expertise in engineering, construction and consulting for power,
environmental, infrastructure and other industrial facilities in 25 countries.
Orenda Aerospace, a division of Magellan Aerospace Corporation (Toronto: MAL),
is a recognized leader in the aerospace industry with an established
reputation in power and propulsion technologies.

DynaMotive Technologies Corporation is a world leader in the development
of BioOil clean fuels for "green" power generation. BioOil is produced using
a unique waste-to-energy technology that converts low-value forest and
agricultural waste into a petroleum-like liquid. Unlike fossil fuels, BioOil
is renewable, clean burning, low in emissions, greenhouse gas neutral and can
be produced economically from waste products. The Company's DynaPower
division produces industrial metal cleaning systems that eliminate the need
for toxic chemicals traditionally used by the wire manufacturing industry to
clean their products. DynaPower systems have now been sold in eight
countries.
