Woodhead Industries Announces Centralized Sales Organization
DEERFIELD, Ill.--Nov. 16, 1999--Woodhead Industries, Inc. today announced a new centralized sales management organization for established market channels in North and South America. The organization will integrate sales management and product and industry specialists for the company's Brad Harrison(R), Aero-Motive(R)/AKAPP(TM), Daniel Woodhead(R), and mPm(TM) products. Operating under the Woodhead Industries banner, the organization will be located in Northbrook, IL, and headed by Paul F. Eitmant, recently appointed President, North and South American Sales.Commenting on the announcement, Eitmant stated, "We anticipate the centralization of sales, combined with application support from product and industry specialists, will heighten our responsiveness to the changing needs of our market channels, and provide a strong focus on end-user requirements. Streamlining the sales organization provides our channel partners a single point of contact, making it easier to do business with Woodhead Industries. These changes will improve our competitiveness by affording us new crossover market opportunities and greater penetration of existing markets."
