Starcraft Corporation Elects Mike Schoeffler, President and Chief Operating Officer, to Board of Directors

    GOSHEN, Ind.--Nov. 11, 1999--The Board of Directors of Starcraft Corporation , at its meeting held in Goshen on November 10, elected Michael H. Schoeffler, Starcraft Corporation President, to serve as a member of the Board.
    Mr. Schoeffler, age 39, a Certified Public Accountant, joined Starcraft in 1995 as Senior Vice President, Treasurer, and Chief Financial Officer, and was made Secretary in 1995. He was appointed President and Chief Operating Officer in December 1996.
    As President of Starcraft Corporation, Mr. Schoeffler heads Starcraft Automotive Group, which includes its core van conversion business, operating under the Starcraft and Imperial names, as well National Mobility, a producer of vans equipped for people with limited mobility, and Starcraft Bus, a builder of mid-sized shuttle buses. Mr. Schoeffler has also been instrumental in bringing Starcraft Corporation and a Detroit engineering firm together in a joint venture called Tecstar, Inc., which has earned long-term contracts to provide vehicle upfit packages to General Motors.
    Prior to joining Starcraft Corporation, Mr. Schoeffler was Executive Vice President/Chief Financial Officer of General Products Corporation, an automotive parts supplier, from 1989 to 1995; Assistant Controller for Sudbury, Inc., a diversified manufacturer, from 1986 to 1989; and a CPA with Ernst & Whinney from 1982 to 1986.
    Mr. Schoeffler graduated Magna cum Laude, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Dayton, and holds a Master's degree in Business from Case Western Reserve, of Cleveland, Ohio. He resides in Elkhart, Indiana with his wife Vickie, and their three children.
