AuraGen to Provide Mobile Power for Ford Excursion-Based M.O.U.T. Vehicle

EL SEGUNDO, Calif.--Nov. 10, 1999--Aura Systems, Inc. (OTC:AURA) Wednesday announced that its AuraGen product has been chosen to supply on-board power for the Ford Excursion-based Operation M.O.U.T. (Mobile Operations for Urban Terrain) vehicle which debuted at the Special Equipment Manufacturers Association (SEMA) show in Las Vegas last week.
Finish Line Motors, the system integrator, is offering the M.O.U.T. for support of urban police, antiterrorism and military operations.
Andy Cohen, President of Finish Line stated: "The power consistency and accuracy is critical for the success of the vehicle. From the point of view of quality, lack of needed maintenance, fuel handling and space savings, the choice of AuraGen is far better than any other 5,000 Watt Genset; a no brainer decision."
More information on the M.O.U.T. Vehicle may be found at http://www.motor1.com/.
The AuraGen Mobile Generator System is a commercial, under-the-hood generator system capable of providing 5,000 Watts of continuous, pure sine wave, 60 Hz, 120/240 VAC power for operating any type of equipment in combination, from the most sensitive digital computer to the most brute force tools.
Aura Systems, Inc., a leader in electromagnetic systems, is located in El Segundo.
