T.J.T., Inc.'s Executive Vice President Plans December 1 Retirement
EMMETT, Idaho--Nov. 9, 1999--T.J.T., Inc. (Nasdaq SmallCap:AXLE), a recycler and supplier of refurbished axles and tires to the manufactured housing industry, said today that Patricia Bradley, the company's executive vice president of dealer sales since 1997, will retire on December 1, 1999.Bradley will remain on T.J.T.'s board of directors and serve on the directors' executive committee.
Bradley joined the company in 1996 when T.J.T acquired Bradley Enterprises. The family-owned firm, established in 1978, refurbished and resold axles and tires for manufactured housing transport from its Centralia, Washington facility which is now part of T.J.T.'s six-state operation. "We will continue to have Pat's expertise in the industry available as a board member," said Terrence Sheldon, president and chief executive officer of T.J.T. "Our management team remains committed to growing the company's recycling and product distribution business and increasing profitability."
Established in 1977, T.J.T. is a major provider of recycled axles and inspected tires to the manufactured housing industry. It operates recycling facilities in Idaho, Washington, northern California, Oregon, Colorado and Arizona. In addition to effectively recycling these serviceable steel and rubber products, the company also sells aftermarket accessories to the manufactured housing industry and vinyl siding to the housing industry. T.J.T. has 10 consecutive years of profitability while growing with the expanding manufactured housing industry. For its fiscal year ended September 30, 1998, the company had revenue of $34.1 million.
