Dollar Receives 1999 'NDTA Distinguished Service Award'
    TULSA, Okla., Nov. 9 -- Dollar Rent A Car recently received
the 1999 "NDTA Distinguished Service Award."  This is the seventh time the
National Defense Transportation Association has honored the rental car company
with this prestigious honor.
    Dollar received the award in recognition of its invaluable support of the
goals and aims of NDTA, in particular, its efforts on behalf of NDTA's
Scholarship Program at last year's NDTA Forum in Houston, Texas.  Dollar has
been the official rental car company of the Forum for the past eight years.
    "We are delighted to once again be recognized by NDTA," Gary Paxton,

to co-sponsor the scholarship event, the closing event of the Forum as well as
provide ground transportation for the Forum.
    NDTA presented Dollar with its plaque in October at the 54th Annual NDTA
Transportation and Logistics Forum & Exposition in Anchorage, Alaska.
