Porsche Reports October U.S. Sales; Year-to-Date Sales Up By 18 Percent

    ATLANTA, Nov. 2 -- Porsche Cars North America, importer and
distributor of Porsche sports cars in the United States, today announced sales
and stock figures for the month of October 1999.  October sales were down by
3 percent from the same period in 1998.  This month's figure is a result of a
reduction in supply.  Year-to-date sales for 1999 were up 18 percent over the
same period in 1998.
