Infiniti Reports Best October Ever
- I30 Leads Sales Momentum for Another Record-Breaking Month -
CARSON, Calif., Nov. 2 -- Infiniti, the luxury division of
Nissan North America, Inc. (NNA), announced today another record-breaking
month and its best-ever October. This follows a best-ever September. Infinti
posted sales of 7,105 units, a 10.3 percent increase over the previous year.
Other notable achievements for the division include:
-- The all-new 2000 I30 continues to lead division sales with 3,810 units,
posting a 52.9 percent increase over the previous year.
-- Infiniti's flagship Q45 performance sedan posted sales of 748 units, up
27.1 percent versus last year.
-- Infiniti's QX4 luxury sport utility vehicle (SUV) continues to satisfy
strong consumer SUV demand with sales of 1,358 units.
-- The G20 sedan posted sales of 1,189 units.
-- Infiniti's 1999 calendar year sales are up 18 percent versus last year,
with total retail sales of 59,233 units.
-- Nissan North America, Inc. sales for October, including Nissan and
Infiniti Divisions, totaled 58,513 units, a 27.6 percent increase
versus the previous year.
