Accuride Announces Reorganization

    HENDERSON, Ky.--Nov. 2, 1999--Today, Accuride Corporation announced that it has reorganized its operating structure. Effective immediately, the Company will be organized around two key business segments - Heavy Vehicle Operations (HVO) and Light Vehicle Operations (LVO).
    "Part of being successful is maintaining an organization that mirrors and is exceptionally responsive to the customer," explained Bill Greubel, Accuride's President and CEO. "This reorganization is designed to maximize our customer focus in the new millennium."
    Including both steel and aluminum wheel production, the Heavy Vehicle Operation will be based in Evansville, Indiana. "The HVO will focus on Accuride's existing and potential medium and heavy wheel customers in the OEM, fleet and trailer aftermarket sectors worldwide," said Terry Keating, Senior Vice President & General Manager/Heavy Vehicle Operations.
    While currently only in steel, Accuride's Light Vehicle Operations will also focus on entering the aluminum market segment. "I will be challenging this new organization to swiftly and profitably grow Accuride's Light Vehicle segment," explained Dick Giromini, Senior Vice President & General Manager/Light Vehicle Operations. "The Light Vehicle market segment holds a great opportunity for Accuride." Accuride's LVO will be based in Northville, Michigan.
    Accuride will continue to operate with a Corporate staff providing support services to both organizations. John Murphy, Executive Vice President and CFO, has accountability for Finance, Legal, Information Technology and Materials. Robin Hamme, Senior Vice President, is responsible for Human Resources and Continuous Improvement.
    Accuride Corporation is North America's largest manufacturer and supplier of wheels for heavy/medium trucks and trailers.
