Robert J. Christie Named President of Intrenet, Inc.

Robert J. Christie Named President of Intrenet, Inc. Subsidiary Advanced Distribution System
    MILFORD, Ohio, Nov. 1 -- Intrenet, Inc. , one
of the nation's leading flatbed truckload companies, today announced that it
has hired transportation industry veteran Robert John Christie, 43, as
President of its Columbus, OH-based Advanced Distribution System, Inc.
subsidiary, effective immediately.  With more than 20 years of experience,
Christie will be responsible for the day-to-day operations, finance, safety
and administration of the subsidiary and will report directly to Intrenet
Chief Operating Officer, John Chandler.  Advanced Distribution System is a
provider of flatbed transportation in all 48 contiguous states, Canada and
Mexico.  Christie replaces Leo D. Blumenauer, who recently left the Company.
    Christie joins Advanced Distribution System from Boston-based Eastern
Connection where he served as Chief Operating Officer.  At Eastern Connection,
Christie was responsible for managing legal, financial, operations and sales
and marketing.  Previously, he served as Regional Manager of Pittsburgh-based
Roadway Package System where he was Manager of the Rocky Mountain region and
responsible for an eleven-state operation.  From 1988 to 1990, Christie was
Director of Operations for Sherwin-Williams Transportation.  There he was
responsible for eleven facilities including a break-bulk operation.  Prior to
that, Christie served as Branch Manager for ABF Freight Systems for nine
years, where he was responsible for multiple terminal operations.
    According to the announcement by Intrenet President and CEO Eric C.
Jackson, "I'm very pleased that Bob has joined our organization.  He is an
important addition to the Intrenet senior management team.  He has posted an
outstanding safety record while producing excellent and consistent
productivity in his trucking and freight management positions.  We look for

    Chandler commented, "Having worked with Bob for several years at RPS, I
have first-hand knowledge of his exceptional operating capabilities and his

Intrenet."
    Christie earned a BS in Business Administration from Southeastern
Massachusetts University and has won numerous management awards.  He resides
with his family in Millersport, OH.
