NationaLease Chooses iFLEET to Handle Breakdown Management Services
ATLANTA--Nov. 1, 1999--NationaLease(R) announced today that it has selected iFLEET(TM), the leading provider of information technology and services for commercial fleets, as provider of breakdown management services."iFLEET's new Web-based co-operating system provides the advanced capabilities necessary to automate breakdown management in a real time environment," says Bill Ford, CEO of NationaLease. iFLEET's new Web-based co-operating environment for managing commercial transactions enables its Commercial Services group to work co-operatively with customers on the same transaction through a united Web interface and underlying Oracle 8(i) engine. iFLEET provides Internet access to these services for NationaLease customers via www.nationalease.com.
Through iFLEET's two state-of-the-art response centers, based in Atlanta, Georgia, and Camarillo, California, iFLEET will provide the resources to manage emergency roadside service for NationaLease affiliates and their customers. iFLEET coordinators receive multi-level training that enables them to handle simple to complex breakdowns, such as hazardous waste spills. The advanced switching technology (developed with partners Lucent and Aspect) in the call centers ensures that the two facilities are run in a true virtual environment with load sharing and immediate backup.
