Delphi Receives 1998 CAMI President's Award
    KOKOMO, Ind., Oct. 27 -- Delphi Automotive Systems
recently received the 1998 CAMI President's Award.  This award is
presented to suppliers based on quality, delivery, leadership and cost
reductions of products supplied to CAMI by Delphi Delco Electronics Systems
facilities in Kokomo, Ind., Milwaukee and Matamoros and Reynosa, Mexico.
    "This award represents all of the qualities that we strive to achieve as a
supplier," said Paul Miller, Delphi Delco Electronics general director of
International Regions Sales and Marketing.  "Only 10 out of more than 200 CAMI
suppliers receive this award."
    Delphi Delco Electronics supplies CAMI with radios, speakers and is the
tier two supplier for the Sensing Diagnostic Modules (SDM) for both the Geo
Metro and Tracker.  In addition, Delphi Delco Electronics supplies the Remote
Keyless Entry (RKE) on the Geo Tracker and Manifold Air Pressure (MAP) sensor
and the electronic controllers for the Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) VI 2wd on
the Geo Metro.
