Sewell Automotive Companies Adds Saab to Dallas Collection; Fifth Automotive Franchise Added to Sewell Automotive Companies in Two Years
DALLAS--Oct. 22, 1999--Sewell Automotive Companies has added the fifth franchise to its Texas group in the past two years with the announcement today of the opening of Sewell Saab of Dallas, according to Carl Sewell, Chairman/CEO of Sewell Automotive Companies.Scheduled to open for business on Monday, Oct. 25, Sewell Saab will initially be located at Sewell Village Cadillac at Love Field, 7310 Lemmon at University, while a permanent facility is completed.
"The compatibility of Saab and Sewell Village Cadillac makes the two a natural combination as we create a permanent facility for Saab. Both Saab and Sewell are committed to improving customer service for North Texas," said Mr. Sewell.
As part of that commitment to service, Sewell will provide a mobile service truck for Saab customers in addition to its traditional customer services including an outstanding collision repair center.
With the management team headed by Sales Manager Nick Vanderpool, Sewell Saab will be the exclusive Saab dealership serving Dallas, Tarrant and Collin counties. Plans call for the addition of two locations in Collin and Tarrant counties in the near future.
Mr. Sewell's decision to add Saab to Sewell Automotive Companies was based on Saab's marketing and product development in recent years.

In addition to Saab, Sewell offers Cadillac, Lexus, Infiniti, Oldsmobile, Pontiac and GMC trucks, with new and used car sales and service, from eight locations in the DFW area.
