Dana's Plumley Division Named Best Overall Performer by Visteon Component Sales Group

    PARIS, Tenn., Oct. 21 -- Dana Corporation's
Plumley Division has been named the best overall performer in the top-volume
supplier category by the Visteon Component Sales Group.
    Criteria for the award included product quality, on-time delivery,
communication, and accuracy.  In addition, special recognition was given to
two of Plumley's molded sealing products plants.  The Silicone Plant in Paris,
Tenn., and the Fulton Plant in Fulton, Ky., were honored for exceptional
delivery performance over the last 12 months.
    Steve Bockmann, Visteon Component Sales Group's director of purchasing,
presented the award to Plumley's Mike Shatley, Visteon account manager, during
a supplier day luncheon at the Spirit of Ford Museum in Dearborn, Mich.
    "We're very proud of our people at the Silicone and Fulton plants," said
Tom Dalton, Plumley's vice president and general manager.  "Their commitment
to quality, flexible manufacturing, and customer service is the foundation of
the many partnerships we are developing with engine and vehicle manufactures
around the world."
    Plumley, a division of Dana's Engine Systems Group, is a market leader in
the extrusion and molding of rubber and plastic materials used in a variety of
'under-the-hood' applications.
    Dana Engine Systems Group provides components, modules, and complete
systems solutions to engine builders worldwide.  The group's product lines
includes Victor Reinz(R) gaskets and sealing products, Perfect Circle(R)
piston rings and engine parts, Glacier(R) Vandervell(R) engine bearings, fluid
