Oak Industries' Tele Quarz Awarded QS 9000 CertificationWALTHAM, Mass., Oct. 20 -- Oak Industries Inc. today announced that Tele Quarz GmbH, a member of its Oak Frequency Control Group ("OFCG"), has received the automotive industry's QS 9000 certification. Tele Quarz, Europe's largest manufacturer of frequency control products, is one of the first manufacturers of frequency control products in the world to receive QS 9000 certification. QS 9000 is a set of quality system requirements adopted by members of the automotive industry and imposed on its suppliers. Based on the ISO 9000 requirements, it is a more stringent set of requirements, with the goal of continuously improving product quality, cost and cycle time.
