Oak Industries' Tele Quarz Awarded QS 9000 Certification
WALTHAM, Mass., Oct. 20 -- Oak Industries Inc.
today announced that Tele Quarz GmbH, a member of its Oak Frequency Control
Group ("OFCG"), has received the automotive industry's QS 9000 certification.
Tele Quarz, Europe's largest manufacturer of frequency control products, is
one of the first manufacturers of frequency control products in the world to
receive QS 9000 certification.
QS 9000 is a set of quality system requirements adopted by members of the
automotive industry and imposed on its suppliers. Based on the ISO 9000

"I am extremely proud of Tele Quarz on reaching this significant
milestone," stated Jamie Bader, President of OFCG. He added, "Achieving QS
9000 certification recognizes Tele Quarz's efforts to meet customer demands
for higher quality and more reliable technology through continuous
