Wilkinson will provide support to the Patent Counsel on all intellectual property matters, including direct responsibility for the Lear Electronic and Electrical Division (LEED) and the company's Technology Division. Prior to that he was an associate at Brooks & Kushman, a Southfield intellectual property firm. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan (USA), a Master's degree in Engineering Mechanics from the University of Missouri in Rolla, Missouri (USA), and a Juris Doctorate degree from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan (USA). Wilkinson and his wife, Kelly, have three children and reside in Plymouth, Michigan (USA).
