Clarion Introduces Two New Car Audio AccessoriesCeNET to C-Bus Translator and CeNET AUXBOX Allows For Easy, Affordable System Expansion GARDENA, Calif., Oct. 19 -- Clarion Sales Corporation, a leader in the car audio and electronics industry, introduces two new accessories to its successful 1999 lineup. The RCB-138-600 CeNET to C-Bus translator and the EE-1155B-A CeNET (AUX BOX) provide car audio enthusiasts affordable ways to expand and upgrade their audio/video components without replacing the entire system. "Since Clarion switched to a CeNET Bus in 1999, consumers were dismayed to learn their trusty Clarion CD-Changers with C-Bus adapters were not compatible with the newest source units, which feature a CeNET Bus," said Don Wong, product category manager at Clarion Sales Corporation. "With the RCB-138 translator, it is possible for audiophiles to enjoy some of their C-Bus peripherals without sacrificing today's advanced technology that is available through Clarion's new source units. And by adding the new EE-1155-A AUX BOX to a CeNET-compatible source unit, users can easily expand their systems without rewiring or replacing the entire thing." The RCB-138-600 CeNET to C-Bus Translator enables car audio enthusiasts to upgrade and expand their systems without replacing all of the components. By translating the C-Bus language from certain peripherals to the CeNET language, the RCB-138-600 allows users to have the most up-to-date source unit, which can easily be expanded upon, while continuing to use older yet still high-performance stereo components. The translator works with prism and rotary knobs as well as with certain multimedia applications. The RCB-138-600 retails at $70 and is now available at authorized Clarion dealers. The EE-1155B-A CeNET (AUX BOX) also enables users to expand their audio and multimedia systems by adding an auxiliary audio input to a CeNET source unit. Compatible with most portable audio devices, including a walkman, MP3 player and multimedia products such as Sega Dreamcast, the AUX BOX is an easy and inexpensive way to expand a system without replacing the source unit or rewiring the entire system. The EE-1155B-A will retail for $100 and will be available early November.
