Treadco, Inc. Announces Opening of New Facility in Van Buren, Arkansas

    FORT SMITH, Ark., Oct. 18 -- Treadco announced today the
opening of its newest facility in Van Buren, AR in the Van Buren Industrial
Park.  The new facility is a complete truck tire sales and service center that
offers new tires, retreads, alignment, wheel balancing, as well as 24-hour
road service.  The new facility is located at 715 Co-op Drive, behind the
Farmers Cooperative and can be easily spotted by looking for the Treadco logo
on the grain silo adjacent to the site.
    "Treadco has always been the leader in serving tire needs for truckers in
the Fort Smith/Van Buren area," reported John R. Meyers, President and CEO.
"This facility provides easier access to trucks traveling on Interstates 40
and 540.  A comfortable driver's lounge and easier access illustrates our
efforts to make this facility as user-friendly as possible."
    Treadco was founded in 1958 and has 60 locations across the nation.
