Mitsubishi Motors Honored As an Information Technology Innovator By Information Week; Automaker Cited for Leading Role in Internet Business UseCYPRESS, Calif., Oct. 14 -- In recognition of its outstanding use of business technology systems, Mitsubishi Motor Sales of America, Inc. (MMSA) has been ranked by "Information Week" as one of 500 leading business users of technology. "Information Week", the premiere trade publication for information technology professionals in the U.S., honored MMSA for its innovative company-wide use of the Internet, Intranet and Extranet. Information Week judges companies on application development, E-business, customer-relationship management and business process/enterprise resource planning. Only companies with at least $1 billion in annual revenue are invited to participate. The top 500 rankings honor those companies which demonstrate technological, procedural and organizational innovation in all areas.
