International Star Retains Managerial Advisory Services

14 October 1999

International Star, Inc. Retains Investor Relations Firm Managerial Advisory Services, Inc.
LAS VEGAS, Nev., Oct. 14 -- International Star, Inc.
(OTC Bulletin Board: ISRI) has retained Managerial Advisory Services, Inc.
(MAS), a Tampa, Florida-based investor relations firm to provide a variety of
corporate and investor related services, including media and public relations.
"Our growth demands that we work with leaders in the investor relations
industry and we are very pleased to have been able to add an organization as
prestigious as MAS to our team," said Kamal Alawas, President and Chief
Executive Officer of ISRI. "They provide us with an ethical and professional
means of making the public and investment community aware of our businesses
and opportunities. We feel they will play a major part in telling the ISRI
story and will greatly enhance the present efforts underway."
Cesar A. Muniz, President of MAS, stated that "International Star, Inc. is
a very exciting company to represent. We are convinced that through their
QWIKTRACK(R), ISRI is launching the next generation of global positioning
technology and is strategically positioned to capture a significant portion of
the multi-million dollar GPS industry."
International Star, Inc., is the distributor of AVL Information Systems,
Ltd.'s Automatic Vehicle Location System (AVLIS)(R) on a worldwide territorial
basis. The system is marketed under the QWICKTRACK(R) name. ISRI is a multi-
faceted company that in addition to the QWICKTRACK(R) business, also holds
significant mining assets in Northern Arizona.
QWICKTRACK(R) Systems use global positioning satellites (GPS) to track any
type of moving vehicle on a real-time basis. What makes QWICKTRACK(R) so
unique is the ability to economically design and implement this technology to
fit the unique needs of consumer and commercial users. QWICKTRACK(R) doesn't
require exotic hardware and software; in fact, existing computer systems can
be integrated into this technology using the AVLIS(R) System. High-end
commercial users can track up to 128 events in real-time that are specific to
a particular type of business. QWICKTRACK(R) can provide real-time data such
as vehicle location, miles driven, load weight, engine performance, and travel
speed.
ISRI has extensively tested the QWICKTRACK(R) system in the Los Angeles
Basin area with a leading trucking company. The system successfully delivered
the exact location of each truck and its speed in real-time several times each
minute.
QWICKTRACK(R) has extensive applications within the consumer marketplace.
This economical system can be used to track a vehicle's location, speed and
more. CNBC reported that most mobile and car phones will have GPS capability
by 2003, creating an enormous potential market for QWICKTRACK(R).
